I’m finally back.

So it’s been a while since I last uploaded hasn’t it? Sorry to anyone who actually reads this blog. I know I’m a small blog, actually amidst non existent come to think of it, but I finally come back.

So where have I been?

Well that’s an easy one, I got lazy at first and basically forgot I had a WordPress blog for a while. Then I joined the Army. That’s where I’ve been for the past couple of months is BCT. I went to Fort Jackson, SC. 1st battalion, 34th infantry regiment. To be more specific I was Foxtrot company, 1st platoon. That’s as specific as I’m going to get, that already narrows it down to like 50 fucking people.

Anyway, I’ve been doing that shit for a while and have finally finished Basic Training. I’m now at Fort Lee (Yeah, I’m a PoG), training to be a 91B. where I have access to my phone again.

I can finally update my fanfiction writing again AND keep up on Dragon Ball Super again, or rather do a little bit of catching up.

Anyway, I updated a fanfiction of mine. The Nightmare At Otonokizaka. I also uploaded a new one. Risers. That one’s based off of a cadence I learned at Basic known as “Blood on the Risers.”

TL:DR. I’m in the Army. New and updated Fanfiction.

Would You Read a Visual Novel I Make?

So over the past several years, I have read a few visual novels, most of which are now full on anime series, and what I always noticed is it seems like a better way to write books. I’m not saying that visual novels are better than an actual book, but it certainly feels that way.

Some of my favourites include; Clannad, Euphoria (kill me later), Kindred Spirits on the Roof.

Actually Clannad is my favourite of them, rivaling Dragon Ball Z for favourite anime in general. I actually really love a good love story, key word, good. So many now a days just kinda suck or are the same as one another. Clannad feels different on enough levels that I actually love it. I love the characters, the anime, the soundtrack, the unique design style, etc.

Personally I don’t think I can write a straight up romance novel without trying to parody myself in the process, which is why I’ll be slipping one in while still going with another story altogether.

Now my plan for a Visual Novel is EXCEPTIONALLY different than the usual VN. Have you ever played the game Homefront?

homefront

Yeah, that atrocity of a game. While the game clearly took a few too many ideas from Call of Duty, gameplay wise anyway, the concept of the United States being occupied by a Foreign (Asian) superpower is quite interesting. Luckily for me, since it’s not as mainstream as the war in the middle east, it would seem original and new. Truthfully it still is new and original since no one really does it, that I am aware of anyway.

However, before I go ahead with this idea, I want to do something else completely different. I want to do it mostly so I can refine the story and fully comprehend what I’d be getting myself into. A fan project for one of my favorite ships in anime…

Yup… NicoMaki. Test my skills with a VN by using them to make it.

Fuck.

In other news, I’m back into writing The White Knight (Vocaloid fanfic), and I think it’s going great since this is the chapter where he officially becomes a superhero. Spoiler I suppose.

My truck’s still missing a headlight, AND APPARENTLY A FUCKING LICENCE PLATE. fantastic.

TL:DR I’m gonna do a WWIII Visual Novel and Love Live Visual Novel, and my truck is still fucked up.

I hurt my truck

First actual blog post.

And it’s not even about a fanfiction update, it’s about me complaining… fuck. fb_img_1483841470626

Alright, hi everyone. My name is John, and I slid off the road an hour ago and crashed into that metal gate that stops cars from going into the ditch. I rammed it pretty good and took out my driver side headlight, the whole fucking thing. I’m still okay, but the truck is looking a little hurt.

Now my baby girl (the truck) is all dinged up on the front and I’m about to be a hundred bucks in the hole again.

On one hand I love Minnesota, but on the other hand… Fuck this place. I’d rather be back in Chicago.

Anyway, thanks for reading this. I’ll be working on “The White Knight” tomorrow and probably a new chapter for “The Nightmare At Otonokizaka” a little later.

Okay. Good night, anyone who reads this.
